Gretsa University held its 2nd graduation ceremony on Friday 16th December 2011 at the Main Campus in Thika along Garissa road. The Guest speaker was Prof. Francis J. Gichaga- Chancellor JKUAT. In the same function, Gretsa University conferred a Doctor of Business( Honoris Causa) to Kibathi Mbugua. Dr. Kibathi Mbugua was afterwards installed as the University's third chancellor.
