The Impact Of Agency Banking On Financial Inclusion In Kenya

Since 2010 regulation by the Central Bank of Kenya, introduction of banking agency in Kenya has brought tremendous improvements. Introduction of this innovative channel has helped to bring access to financial services much closer to the customers. Therefore, this study seeks to find out the impacts of Agency Banking on the financial inclusion in Kenya. The research adopted a survey where total numbers of 50 respondents drawn from various banking agencies including the top management in the clients were interviewed. Data was collected and administered by the use of structured questionnaires to the respondent. The study used a descriptive data analysis tool to test the impacts of agency banking in Kenya. Data was presented inform of tables, pie charts and graphs. Finally chapter five covers the conclusion and the potential recommendations.
