Factors Affecting Recruitment Exercises in the Hospitality Industry: A Case Study of Windsor Golf and Country Club, Kiambu County, Kenya

An organization has to make deliberate attempts to maintain an effective recruitment process to ensure that it attracts high caliber human resources who can assist the organization to achieve its target on an ever changing competitive and dynamic business environment. Challenges in recruitment continue to be an issue in many hospitality related organizations and the economy as a whole. Thus, there is need to develop means and ways of overcoming the challenges in recruitment. In this respect, the study aims at establishing various sources of recruitment and its effect on the recruitment process. Besides, the study aims at examining the effect of organization size on recruitment process, factors affecting the process and determine the existence of recruitment policies. Using descriptive survey design and simple random sampling, self-admisntered questionnaires were used to collect quantitative data.
